Tom

Thank you Thank you - for wound me whole…these glimpses…a letter. The right here, right now … is as God, as God gets.

And Jesus responds: "All these years later, you've been lovingly wounded whole. I love how we heal so well - side by side."

Beautiful and just love your summary: "I love how we heal so well ... side by side."

Powerful Br. Kent!

This right here, Brother Tom: 'We make ourselves irresistible to God by not resisting.' And the Beloved loves us so deeply... what more is necessary?

You have wounded me whole tonight, dear Tom, with every word, every glimpse, every curve. You do, indeed, have what it takes. Thank you for this graced timing. 💞

You are my birthday gift, Tom, in a longing-for-freedom campervan, at my first Harvest Host starlit farm, with sweet Cooper and visiting mom by day. 🙏✨💝 Thank you, friend.

Susan ... Thanks for your open heart and kind words ... and a Blessed Birthday to You! I love your "longing-for-freedom" spirit ... as it so deeply resonates with my own. Please enjoy this time and the birthday gift you are ... :)

Tom, this is so beautiful, so vulnerable and so real. "Wound me whole" went right into my heart - it reminds me of the line from Rilke, "If the drink is bitter, turn yourself to wine." And this yearning is going to go on wee altar behind my desk - "The greatest prayer is not one you say. It is simply you." Thank you thank you.

Thanks Karly ... so glad you connected. Better yet, to be in the same paragraph with Rilke! :) So thrilled it touched your own yearning to more fully inhabit the beautiful prayer you already are ...
